Besieged Birmingham, UK
Besieged formed in Birmingham, UK in 2012, and proceeded to release the visceral, unrelenting 2-track thrash demo 'Parasite God'. On the back of that, they completed their lineup and honed that sound into the nail to the head that is 'Aggressor'.

I bought this mostly as a companion to their other EP ‘Point Of No Return’. They are both similar in their homage to classic 80s thrash, but Point Of... has superior riffage and is an example of how only a handful of bands, past or present, know how to get those head banging riffs just right.

Very strong well-prepared old school thrash metal reminding mid 80th. Nevertheless there is a big disadvantage - this band is from Russia, so I would call it Putin-metal. Unfortunately it's hard to perceive Russian bands apart from that political background.
